Postural Correction
What We Do (and Don’t Do)
This isn’t physiotherapy or chiropractic, and it’s not a one-size-fits-all “back programme”.
We offer:
- Manual therapy to release postural tension
- Postural assessments that help identify what’s contributing to discomfort
- Targeted muscle activation & awareness – to build body understanding
- Guided strengthening exercises (with tools like resistance bands)
- Ongoing support between sessions so you can build strength safely over time
Our goal is to support real-world postural improvement – grounded in how you actually live and move.

Client's Questions Answered
Is this like physiotherapy or chiropractic?
No. We don’t diagnose or manipulate. We use manual, clinical soft tissue therapy and guided movement to support better posture, awareness, and muscular balance.
Will you give me stretches or exercises to do?
Yes, if appropriate – we offer take-home movement support and strengthening strategies, including tools like resistance bands available in our shop.
How long does it take to see results?
Some people feel change after 1-2 sessions. Others benefit from a series, especially if posture habits are deeply held or linked to work or sport.
Can you help with scoliosis-related discomfort?
Yes, we support clients with mild scoliosis experiencing muscular tightness, postural strain, or asymmetry. We use clinical soft tissue therapy, movement strategies, and strengthening to help improve comfort and awareness. We don’t diagnose or offer structural correction.
Can you support clients with neurological conditions like cerebral palsy?
Yes, we work with clients (including SEN children and young adults) who experience postural tension or muscular holding patterns linked to neurological conditions, such as cerebral palsy. Sessions are adapted to each individual and always focused on comfort, safety, and functional support.
Do you work with clients who can’t ‘correct’ their posture?
Yes. For many clients posture isn’t something to “fix.” What we offer is support: gentle, adapted therapy that may ease muscular tension, reduce discomfort, and help the body feel more at ease in daily life.
Do I need to wear or bring anything special?
Just wear comfortable clothing. If you’re working on strengthening, we may provide a resistance band for home use.
Feel stronger, freer, and more supported in your posture.
We’ll help you release discomfort and build postural resilience – with hands-on care and tools to continue progress between sessions.
