Cancer doesn’t just affect organs or systems – it profoundly changes how the soft tissues of the body feel and function. Surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and hormone therapies can leave behind pain, tension, reduced mobility, and a sense of physical disconnection.

At Advance SRM Therapies, we provide informed, adaptable soft tissue support for people living with or recovering from cancer. Our team is experienced in working with:

Post-mastectomy and lymph node removal
Abdominal surgeries (e.g. hysterectomy)
Reconstruction, scarring, and tissue restriction
Radiotherapy-related tightness and fibrosis

We understand that oncology recovery is layered – physically, emotionally, and neurologically. Our role is to help you feel more comfortable, more mobile, and more in control of your physical recovery.

Treatment may include gentle soft tissue work, scar therapy, postural support, and home strategies such as gentle rehab and mobility tools from our clinic shop.

"I visited Jo for a Scar Tissue Therapy after having my second c-section. After the first few sessions I could already see dramatic improvement in the appearance of my scar but the true test was when I returned to competitive swimming where I had previously (after my first c-section) suffered a lot of pain across my lower abdomen and behind my scar. Jo had explained how scar tissue can attach to muscle and demonstrated selection of massage techniques for me to try at home. This was fantastic.
