Medical Acupuncture and Dry Needling
Medical Acupuncture & Dry Needling are safe and effective non-invasive alternative therapies for pain relief, improved muscle function & overall well-being.
Medical acupuncture and dry needling are non-invasive complementary therapies that work by inserting tiny needles into specific areas of the body to reduce pain, enhance muscle function, and accelerate recovery. Both treatments are successful in treating a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, including headaches, migraines, and sports injuries. They can also improve overall health and be used in conjunction with conventional medical care.
WHAT IS Medical acupuncture and dry needling?
Medical acupuncture and dry needling are based on Western medical ideas (as opposed to traditional acupuncture which is based on Eastern concepts) and concentrate on treating particular musculoskeletal disorders and involve inserting tiny needles into trigger points in the muscles. This procedure aids in releasing tension and improving blood flow to the area, which reduces discomfort and improves muscle function.
One advantage of medical acupuncture and dry needling is that a variety of ailments, such as chronic pain, headaches, and sports injuries, can be treated with these techniques. They can also be used to lessen inflammation, increase range of motion, and increase flexibility. The majority of patients only experience minor discomfort throughout these non-invasive procedures.
Medical acupuncture and dry needling can also be used in conjunction with conventional health care. This means that a more holistic approach to pain treatment can be achieved by combining it with other therapies including soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation, and medication.
