Advanced Soft Tissue Massage Therapy
More than a deep tissue or remedial massage, advanced soft tissue massage therapy is used to: restore range of motion; address imbalance in muscle groups; which is causing pain or dysfunction; rehabilitate soft tissue trauma caused by injury, surgery or chronic conditions.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Advanced soft tissue therpy is for anyone looking for anyone dealing with any sort of soft tissue trauma caused by illness, surgery or serious injury. Unlike traditional massage therapies, clinical soft tissue techniques (including massage) are used during treatments to improve soft tissue condition, control symtpoms, speed-up recovery, and/or improve joint range of motion.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
Before any treatment, you will need to complete a client intake form which will enable us to get a detailed understanding of the type of soft tissue complaint and symptoms you are dealing with. This ensures that any treatments can be tailored to the specifics of your condition. As with all our treatments you will experience our 3 stage process - 1. Full assessment of injury, pain or soft tissue dysfunction, 2. Address the quality of the soft tissues using clinical massage techniques, 3. Provide the clients with remedial exercises and advice to help them fully achieve the long term benefits of treatment.
HOW LONG IS THE TREATMENT?
The length of a session is dependent upon the specific condition a person is suffering with, the needs of the client and the desired outcomes from each treatment.
A typical session will be 30min or 60min and the number of sessions needed is very much dependent upon the personal needs of each client.
